Jerry L. Cooper, M.D.
Dr. Cooper is a board-certified dermatologist and laser expert. He specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery for the treatment of skin cancer. He is affiliated with Emory University, Northside Hospital and DeKalb Medical Center.
Dr. Cooper is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He has been recognized by the American Medical Association and given the Physicians Recognition Award for the years 2001 through 2005. Dr. Cooper was named one of America’s top physicians in 2003, 2004 and 2005 by Consumer’s Research Council, and Atlanta Magazine awarded him Top Doc in 1999. Dr. Cooper was recently named one of Atlanta's Top Health and Beauty Experts by the Atlantan Magazine for 2012. Dr. Cooper was recognized by the International Society for Cosmetic Laser Surgeons as a master in cosmetic and laser surgery in 2006.
Tunisia Cornelius, M.D.
Dr. Cornelius is a board-certified dermatologist with a special interest in general dermatology, ethnic skin conditions, and hair disorders. A member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Cornelius joined Atlanta Dermatology and Laser Surgery in 2014 after working in dermatology since 2012.
Dr. Cornelius earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA, after completing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. Dr. Cornelius completed her internship at the University Of Tennessee College Of Medicine Transitional Year Residency Program in Chattanooga, TN and her dermatology residency program at the University of Chicago in Chicago, IL. She was Chief Resident during both her internship and dermatology residency.
She enjoys dining, working out, spending time with family and attending sporting events in her spare time. Dr. Cornelius is currently accepting new patients for all medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology appointments.
Laura Browning, PA-C
Laura is a Certified Physician Assistant with a special interest in dermatological hair, skin and nail disorders. Prior to joining Atlanta Dermatology & Laser Surgery, Laura worked in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Laura has a graduate degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Wake Forest University and a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants.
While not at work, Laura enjoys
traveling, running and spending time
with her husband, Steve.
